Using funnels with feeders?
I have a new fat boy tripod feeder that is getting clogged. In other words, the corn that should fall through the 1 1/2 inch hole in the drum and onto the spinner, is getting stuck in the feeder. It is not clumping up like its wet, though in florida, the humidity may be coming into play. If i bang on the outside of the drum, the corn comes pouring back out.
Funnels are $20, a bit much for what they are, but if you think this will fix the problem, i will get one. My drum holds appx 200lbs of corn, so it is closer to a 30-35 gallon style. Any other suggestions that may help my situation is appreciated.

Clean corn shouldn't stop up a feeder with a hole that big. The vibration of the feeder going off should be more than enough to get the corn flowing. Did you put anything in with the corn?

Perhaps your spinner is too close to the funnel ? A space of 5/16" was reccomended for mine . If it's too close the corn can't flow from the drum properly , try backing it off a little until it feeds right .

nothing added to the corn though i have learned the humid/hot florida summers may be contributing to the problem. it has been exceptionally wet. june was the second wettest (missed a new record by 1/4 inch) june in history with 17 inches
