Anyone from Colorado
I recently moved to colorado and am looking for information on hunting here. I know that you have to be a resident for 6 months in order to be considered in state. I am looking for any information on waterfowl hunting and big game hunting. I am looking for public or private land relatively close to the Littleton area...but needin' to get some killin' done...I am havin' withdrawl!

Recently moved here also. Real pretty country, starting to feel like home. The first thing I bought when I arrived was a CO. atlas. I then started driving around and write down about where I was at areas that looked good. I then bought individual maps of the areas that I was Interested in. I'm still studying all those maps, atleast I have a couple of months to decide on what and where i'm applying for. I'm sure that you allready aquired last years hunting regulations and have been studying them. Best wishes and holler if you're heading this way.

I've been here 12 years. I have a fair amount of info on big game and waterfowl but mostly hunt birds with my bir dog anymore. Although the bird hunting is not great for any one species, there is a tremendous variety. Probably more than any other state. Email me if you want some more info. Waterfowl is about all you have left until next fall. If duck season is still in you might check out some of the areas along the South Platte NE of Denver. I believe Tammarack is good and they have some sort of reservation system. Spring snow goose hunting can be good if you can hook up someone who has a big decoy spread.
