Default Anyone hunt the Olympic peninsula?

I was thinking of checking it out over there but need some advice on where to go. What gmu can I expect the most luck in for bear and blacktail? How do I find and get to public hunting land?

Thanks!

Default RE: Anyone hunt the Olympic peninsula?

There is a lot of land out there, both NF and timber co.(mostly timber co.) Contact the WDFW office in Montesano. They' ve always been helpful with whatever question I' ve had about that part of the state. Depending on what time of year you try to get in, access can be problematic on timber company land.
