The Deer & Elk hunting has been pretty tough up here in our area (unit 417 418) the last few years. I put in alot of time & walking to take a buck last year. I think there is a lot more game down in the bottom part of the state. How is it in every one elses area ?

A fella from N.Y. came up for a bear hunt, another from Kansas came for Turkey, met a life time friend's..{a married couple} from bremerton, that have been here turkey, deer, and turkey....plus we all went back to Nebraska a couple year's ago to a fella we met on the net...we did some deer, and pheasent hunting there. Have also hunted with folk's from Canada that I've met on the net. I sure get tired of seeing on the new's of all the negitive thing's from the net....But to me...it's brought Life time friend's and hunting partner's... :)

...Naw...I wish though... :)..Youngest son ran the 1/4 midget's for a couple year's...Then cart's for about 6 year's...I raced alittle dirt track up here in Northport Wa. Then I was flagman for a couple of year's...then pit boss...Have lot's of friend's in all sort's of different racing

morning robb, afternoon i reckon for you. how goes the fight out your neck of the world.
theres a few of us hanging around, the way i see it... we got a big kegger going at WAYNE'S in the spring, everybody from the west side is just going to bum rush him one morning, kids and all, dump the kids on him and go turkey hunting... thats those big blue ones with the long tail right? i see it on NBC every so often.

Hi guys! I wasn't going to go to the Sportsman's Show because of the weather, but a friend came over all the way from Olympia in his 4x4 and insisted on still going. Said if he could get all the way from Olympia we could get to the fairgrounds in Puyallup.<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>
While there I made reservations for the first sturgeon trip of the year. I bought an E-collar for my pup for a little reminder when in the kennel,[no, the kennel is not meant to eat]. I found 2 good trainers. One in Moses Lake and the other in Spokane. I have to choose between the 2 for a little additional schooling this Spring. Hey Robb I'm still around. Took the whole last weeK of season off and did Ok. Emptied out the Blazer sisn't find any left over birds but did come up missing the liner for my jacket that p----- me off even went for a drive this weekend to the last 3 places I hunted and didn't have any luck finding it. The kids enjoyed the run. they did put up a pheasant hen so they were happy( almost like going hunting and with the way I shot a few days they got just as much to retrieve)I guess when and if I find it I'll probably go now how the heck did it get here. Like Nas's said only 8 months to go.

Robb....Good luck with the bear the first of August. Last season I went out a few time's...But was way to hot out.....plus the berries where I hunt were few and far between.

WELL I JUST FOUND A PLACE THAT HAS ROUNDTRIP TICKETS TO CHICAGO FOR 174 DOLLARS A PIECE, SO NOW I NEED TO SEE HOW MUCH IT WILL COST FROM CHICAGO TO SPOKANE.

MY BIRTHDAY IS MAY 5TH AND MY WIFES IF THE 4TH. I'LL DO THAT, JUST BEEN READING THE KXLY WEBSITE CATCHING UP ON ALL THE NEWS GOING ON BACK HOME. MAN THE COPS ARE GOING WILD THEY HAVE KILLED 5 PEOPLE IN 6 MONTHS. THERE IS ALSO A STORY ON THE SNOW PACK AND SOME ARE SAYING THE DROUGHT MIGHT BE OVER, WITH ALL THE SNOW YOU GUYS HAVE GOT.

Thanks for the welcome, guys. I love to hunt mulies, and whitetails also. I discovered turkey hunting 6 years ago after hearing about my Dad's old adventures with the longbeards-it got me hooked and got his juices flowing for 'em all over again as well!
I've been fortunate to get my turkeys each year, but have yet to get that &quot;Washinton Slam&quot; -the Eastern gobbler still gives us the slip! If it has to do with huntin' and fishin' I'm all ears.
