Hey all just checking in with all the semi-homies. How did everyone do this fall? Lets see some pics of all the game that was taken........

All the luck I had this fall was on this running song dog at around 120 yards. My 7mm RM with handloaded Accubonds did nicely.

Must be time to brush off the spotllight and go looking for coyotes and bobcats (cats still open?). If nothing else, get out after the song dogs.

Been bitter cold here last couple weeks (0 degrees at night) so spotlighting at night = not fun. Warming up though so soon!

Just thoguth I would see how things were going back home. I haven't been on here in a while, with moving back from England to Maryland and then wrapping up my AA degree and starting my BA, plus with hunting season still going on. And then getting ready to head to the big sandbox in the next coupl eof weeks.

Yes you can. Go to forums home, than scrool down to classifieds, than down to guns. What are you looking to sell?

I'm fairly new to this site...from Maple Valley. A few weeks before deer season last year I tore up my shoulder and had surgery. Did it learning to shoot a compound bow. I was so depressed I went into hiding for a while. I just got my mount back from the 2005 season and all of a sudden I'm PUMPED! Can't wait until the coming season...it's on my mind constantly. Colville was very good to me in 2005. I'll post photos soon. Richard

How much snow do you guys have? we have had total 3 inches this whole year. The weather here sucks!!! Either is 90 degree with 100 percent humidity or its cold with 30 mph winds.

summit daWg 01-29-2007 05:37 PM

RE: ANYBODY FROM WASHINGTON STILL AROUND???

Can't speak for the rest of the state, but we've had snow here on the wet side 4 different times with 2 of them sticking around for over a week or more. Not to mention record rain and windstorms. No ski area in the world has more snow right now than Mt Baker.

Not that anybody missed me but I've been out of the loop for the last two years. But I'm back and ready to stick something. I'm going to pull out all of my gear this weekend and go over it. I hope my bow made it through the move. I need to get out that and start driving the roads and walking the trails.

Happy Hunting

I'm looking to do some good hunting before I get out of the military. I'd like to hunt the big game tags (bear, cougar, deer, and Elk). Anyone have any places they'd be willing to share?

RE: ANYBODY FROM WASHINGTON STILL AROUND???

Well hurry up and get back home. The weather is starting to finally cool down. I went out yesterday and started sighting in my new rifle scope. I thought I had a box of shells but they turned out to be 30-30. I couldn't get them to fit my 30-06. So I used the 10 shells and got the scope to within 3" of center. Now I need to get out and shoot my bow. What are you doing at Andrews? I was in Crash, Fire and Rescue my first 4 years and then cross trained into computer maintenance for my last 11. I was able to take an early out and retire and 15.

Keeping your spot warm.
