Hey kirkl, seems like yesterday every group of bucks was out moving around, I saw one group that had 12 bucks in it and only one of them was a spike the rest were 3 and 4 points. This group was one a small island in the river. Nothing really big in the group but they were all nice. Then later down by Carlton I saw another group of 15 bucks and 4 were really nice bucks and only 3 in the group were 2 points and spikes.

Hey kirk and Nw, heres the latest critter sightings for you. kirk, I've been seeing over 15 leagal bucks in E.C. haven't seen that 6x7 now for over 2 weeks but there is a 3x3 that is at least 26" real nice buck. To date I have seen 127 diff leagal bucks around the valley.
Nw saw 3 bears so far this week. Saw a nice one up Falls creek the other evening.
Also this last Thurs I saw about a 2yr old bull moose up the Chewuch, right next to do Doe creek. Also there is a pile of blues alll over the place.

Pac, thanks for the updates. Boy you live in game rich territory. I got a bear on sunday, about a 140 pounder, good bear for my first. Thats cool you saw a moose. Is there a few of them around. Hopefully he dont get poached. How far down from the turn off of paterson lake road are you seeing the deer on E.C or is it pretty much the whole stretch clear to twisp river road. Also, how far down from the paterson lake road turn does it turn into state land for hunting.
Thanks
Thanks

kirkl, not to sure how to explain where exactly the bounderies of the state land are . If you know where the old road that takes off to the Big Buck ranch area thats kind the starting area but not sure exactly how to tall you where the boundery begins at that end. Best thing to do is get a state DNR map it will show the boundery lines better then I can tell. Hey congrats on the bear. Most of the deer on E.C. I'm seeing are toward the Twisp river side .

OK latest critter sighting update. I've seen 6 bears in the last 4 days 3 of them are over 200lbs, still seeing lots of bucks and some real nice ones at that. Saw a cow elk to. Also the steelhead count over Priest Rapids dam is looking good for the up coming steelhead season, keeping fingers crossed on that one.
