Yeah Bldhound, seems the wife was conspiring against me. While I was at elk camp she left the garage open 1 night, and some bastards decided they wanted my bow and everything that goes with it along with a couple of saws.
I've got to say this is the only state that I've even heard of road hunting with a bow. Damnedest thing I've ever seen. The sad thing is somebody obviously has had success or they wouldn't still be doing it. Those people are giving hunters a bad name.

I don't know about you guys but this year was the worst I have ever seen when it comes to people driving all over the place in there trucks, cars and mini vans not have a clue in what they are doing. In some area's that I hunt I do a lot of glassing and stocking but I don't call that road hunting.
Slee it sucks to here about your stuff getting stolen![:@] there is nothing worse than a loser that cant get a job and buy there own stuff!

I agreed with everyone on the MR season. Couple years ago, I was hunting during MR deer season. I was at the bottom on a clear cut in the center and my friend was at the corner. A truck came and parked at the top. The driver got out and started glassing down at us through his riffle scope. I gave him about a minute to stop, but he didn't. So, I got behind a tree and aimed my gun toward him. Didn't take him long to get in his truck and drove off. Afterward, my friend told me that he saw it too and was also aiming at him. I don't know if what I did was stupid or not. I was in orange and there were no excuses that he didn't see me down there.
I still hunt deer during MR, but I if I can find a good area for bow I might switch.

Yep, she made it back fine. Boy I tell ya, Laura can ride the range with the best of 'em. I really appreciate it. Southern Comfort in turkey camp is on me.

Now how'd you know where my mind was? Damn, I think we must be kin. You bring your 18 year old friend, I'll pull out my Southern Comfort, and we'll see if we can't dust a tom or 3 or 4 when it's all said and done.
I think I'm gonna send Paul in the opposite direction this year. He's never gonna let me kill a bird if I don't.
