Yeah, I' m getting anxious too. Just over 3 weeks and the smoke pole comes out, and I hope to fill my Taneum cow tag. Bldhound is gonna be in the neighborhood chasin' ' em too. You get too many southern boys in the woods chasin' elk(or anything for that matter), and all hell' s bound to break loose.
I just hope these showers don' t turn into thunder boomers up in the hills. We aren' t getting enough rain to overcome the fire threat any time soon. It' s definitely getting to be that time of year though. You can smell it in the air.
Wayne, you got a big boy located on your place this time around? I expect to hear stories of you filling your tag and see you posing instead of somebody else. You need some fresh pics of yourself on your webpage, and nobody wants to see that mug of yours unless it' s grinning with a trophy in hand.

Wayne, which end are you talking about exposing for a picture that would require a wide angle? I don' t care how big an animal it is, I don' t want to see that pose.
If you' ve got a bear that good on your place, why don' t you keep a rifle with you every time you walk out the door. Lord knows I would. Good luck with the elk.

Howdy ya' ll, Im from Graham Washington, Im 20 and this is gonna be my first hunting season where I go alone (without my father). Ive heard some things about tags and stuff and I was wondering if any of yall could help me out... Ive heard that if you get your deer tag you have to either ONLY hunt in Eastern washington or Western Washington, that you cant hunt either... is that true? Ive tried looking it up in " the book" and on the website but I cant find anything... can anyone help me out? Either email me or leave a post on here... Thank ya much for your help!!!
