Default Wyoming Region M

I was out there late October & I was pretty disappointed due to the fact that the only decent deer we saw were on private land. I understand that we went a couple weeks after the season opener & there may have been quite a bit of pressure. It seemed that we only saw bucks (spikes & forkies) coming out at night (more than an hr after sundown) and leaving the fields while it was still dark. Also, I would say that 80% of the deer we saw were whitetail....are they taking over the west or what? Anyhow for future reference, can anyone advise the best way to hunt that region? Thanks again guys...

Call the local chamber and get some landowner info and phone #'s. You might find one or two that will let you on without $ oryou mighthave to pay a trespass fee, to get on the better ground. Many other hunting areas have a lot more public land.
