Any of the ones on my list. Set a budget then start looking at different models. Pick the one you like the best in your price range.

I absolutely love my Remington 11-87 super magnum!! I have never had it jam and can shoot the lightest target loads to the heaviest turkey loads and even slugs. I feel it is a great gun!

Thanks guys. By the way what I meant by newbie guns was that it wasn;t hard to care for, etc.

I’ve had my Beretta semi auto for a number of years and have never had a problems with it. I clean this gun the least out all of my guns and it still works great and I never think twice about taking it out hunting. It’s as reliable as the first day I bought it. Good luck....

Personally i shoot a 1187, being a gas operated gun they take more maintenance (cleaning) than a Benelli type auto. The benelli takes less cleaning but i prefer the 1187, just personal preference.

Benelli! Load the shogun and then place a shell inbetween each finger
on the other hand, as you shoot insert a shell in the magazine.
It will give you 3 more shots real quick. I use to hunt quail and ducks
with my BRN A-5 this way.

Most of the guys around here that hunt a lot normally shoot 2-4 cases of shells through their guns a year. Most of those guys bought Benelli's and then got rid of them. Pretty much the same thing with the Browning Gold's. Most of them anymore shoot Baretta, older Browning, and 1187's.
