Default First Time Going Out

I was invited for to go duck and goose hunting in Kansas several times this upcoming season. I have never been before. I just got a new Benelli Nova and a set of waders but was curious as to what else I will need. All of my camo is seclusion 3d from cabela's. Will that camo work well or should I get some max4hd or wetlands? Is there anything else you can think of? I am an avid hunter of deer and small game already but would like to become a duck and goose hunter.

Welcome to the wonderful world of waterfowling, a very addicting sport. Your best bet would probably be to get advice from the folks who invited you to go hunting with. They would know best as to what to wear and/or use in the particular part of the country. Good luck and welcome to the club. Save yer money too!

Howdy!!! I would think that for the most part that your gear should be adequate for the first year and go along with your buddies and have fun. You have the perfect waterfowl gun and just get out and learn the birds this year, the only piece of advice for a midwesterner I can give is do not quit scouting for birds and when you find them get out there asap and hunt them!!!!
