Default Any one use FUD decoys?

I was looking at FUD decoys on the internet and was interested. if anyone has used them, are they good dekes in performance and practicality? I hunt shallow river inlets and potholes, with an occasional field. And usually walk about a 1/2 mile.

any insight is appreciated.

I have looked at them and believe they may work in some situations, like no wind or at least not over 10 mph. I have tried many of the ultra light decoys over the years and the problem I always had is that the wind is blowing them around so that they would spook any bird that came for a long look.

I just looked at them at Cabelas ,I agree they will probely tip with good wind and from the front they have no with in the head area. Some one must be bying them this is the 2 year at least Cabelas carry them . Might work great on a stake for feild hunting if they are cheap enough ,I didn't even look at the price .

Here's my yellow Lab making delivery to hand at heel in front of a group of FUDs that we use as field feeders on the water's edge. They have been very effective for us for three seasons now.

They do look quite good and will do the job........not great in the wind, but on calm days, can't beat 'em
