Has anyone purchased one, or seen one in action? I am thinking about getting one, because the ducks around here are, well, too smart. They won't come to any spread, and they have been hunted too much. To get these ducks, I am going to have to make them want to come in, and the only way I think i can do this, is trying my best to make my spread look real. This is only my second season out, and my first with decoys.. I am thinking about purchashing a dabbler duck decoy, but I don't want to be ripped off. I am also going to be purchasing a vortex.. By the way, the ducks are more or less not respoding to any calls, so I have been limiting myself to an occasional feed call, and drake whistle, which still has led to more than a couple hunts, without any success...

I know someone who has one and they claim that they belive it works. Here are some things I do for skititish ducks. Find a place where the ducks want to be. Use only a few decoys at the most and leave the call/s at home. I hunt on a large lake that feeds into Lake Michigan durring the late part of the season here in Michigan. I have a spot where I know the birds want to go. it's public land so, sometimes other parties beat us there. These guys will set out six dozen decoys and won't get any shots. The next day when we are in the same spot with our two decoys we limit out!
