I hear the Ohio is Big in the late season.

That and the KY river. Like you mentioned, late in the season, when the ponds and small lakes are all but frozen over, look to the bigger bodies of water, i.e. KY an OH rivers. BTW, drop a line for cats when you' re out there. I' ve hooked some nice cats in both rivers.

in the western part of the state check out henderson sloughs lakes barkley and kentucky. tell me what part of the state your interrested in. I grew up duck hunting in that state before i move to kansas. i know some good areas to ckeck out
