Default steel shot

Obviously everyone has their preference, but what is the best steel shot to use for mallard sized Ducks 2' s or 3' s in Kent, Federal, win, or rem?

Thanks

I usually use Win. but a friend of mine swears by Kent Faststeel. I' m going to try them is fall. We will see if there is a difference.

Another 1 for Fasteel!!

#3' s for ducks and 1' s for geese. 3" 1-1/8 oz loads at 1560 fps,, thats sizzling! Going to be trying bb' s on giant locals on sept.2,, ill let you know!

I had bought a case of 3" 1 1/8 #3' s made by Federal for herters a year or two ago. The are suppose to be around 1530fps but wasn' t sure if this would be enough for mallards. I was thinking about picking up a few #2' s in the kent fasteel or win supreme, but like the price of kent so was leaning towards them. Who makes Kent?

Thanks

I used to use #4' s, found I was wounding too many birds. Switched to #2' s, much more effective.
