i' ve also shot about 2500 of the sellier & bellot sporting clays load through the sbe. 1 1/8 oz, 3.5 dram, 1400 fps, #7.5 or #8. $40 a case from cabelas. combine an order and shipping is pretty minimal, comes out to $4.25 a box or less.

First off I would want a 12 ga that would shoot 3 1/2" shells. The 10ga may pattern better but weighs to much for duck hunting not able to get on them as quick and also just extra weight to carry. Next I would want an auto. Have a few pumps but would go for the auto. So it boils down to a few thats out there then would find one that fits and comes up with ease and right on everytime. All of this pointed me to the Winchester super X. It has been a good gun and used it on ducks, geese, pheasants, grouse, woodcock, huns, sharptail, but mostly for waterfowl.

Call me crazy if you will but I bought a Charles Daly 3 1/2" 12 ga. gas operated camo synthetic. I needed a gun that I could use 3" for duck and 3 1/2" for geese. I' ve taken just as many geese with it as my Remington SP-10 Magnum. Not to mention the weight difference. It' s a great gun and has never jammed on me. The best advantage is that I won' t cry if I drop it in the river or mud while duck hunting so I can save my Beretta strictly for skeet/trap competition.
The only drawback I have found is it will not cycle low brass 2 3/4" plus it' s very light so it' s got a pretty hefty recoil. I' ve always been a true believer in spending a little extra and getting higher end gun but that Charles Daly is the best $500 I' ve ever spent.

Well I finally decided on what one to buy and I opted for the winchester super x2.Feels and points great and has cycled everything I have fed it so far 2 3/4 light stuff rite thru 3 1/2 mags. I don' t think the ducks and geese are going to like me this fall

You will like the Super X2. I have had mine for about 5 years now and it is the best shotgun I have ever owned. It is a breeze to disassemble and keep clean. It will shoot any load available and has no cycling problems...have fun with your new gun!!!
