I got an 870 Express a couple years ago and my shooting improved immediately. Suddenly if it was in range, I knew I could hit it.
It fits like a glove and is very reliable. I love shooting that gun.

Well thanks for the replies I was thinking more like a Benelli this trip around. I have a Remington 870 at the moment but hate to spend more money with Remington when they don' t have good quality control anymore.Been eyeballing a M1 field just gathering the money together I think.

I have a lefty Remington 870 Express and love it. It does everything I want and handles every 12GA shell (except the big 3 1/2" super mag shells). I' ve run #8 skeet, down to #00 buck with it and it shoots perfect. The best is Winchester #2 steel for ducks and Remington Nitro Steel #BB' s for geese.

SBE, Super Black Eagle.
I use it for everything...skeet, doves, ducks & geese, turkey.
Beware of the person that just fields one gun, they probably know how to use it well.

psandhu,
Had any problems with your SBE ejecting light load shells? I shot the recommended 2 boxes of 3" throught it prior to last dove season and still had problems. Hopefully the additional boxes I shot through it during duck season will help. I may have to buy more expensive shells. Let me know.

caveman,
mine is the older style sbe, it' s 5 years old. the manual said it would not cycle any loads lighter than 1 1/8 oz reliably, but i have no problem with 1 oz or even the 7/8 oz hi-speed promo loads. i first tried these light shells in year 3, the gun already had 5000+ 2.75, 3.0 and 3.5 inch shells through it though.
it can be fickle with 2.75" winchester shells, and it can be fickle if the top surface of the shell carrier (the forked thing under the bolt) is grimey or dirty.
