RE: duck and goose gun ??
Call me crazy if you will but I bought a Charles Daly 3 1/2" 12 ga. gas operated camo synthetic. I needed a gun that I could use 3" for duck and 3 1/2" for geese. I' ve taken just as many geese with it as my Remington SP-10 Magnum. Not to mention the weight difference. It' s a great gun and has never jammed on me. The best advantage is that I won' t cry if I drop it in the river or mud while duck hunting so I can save my Beretta strictly for skeet/trap competition.
The only drawback I have found is it will not cycle low brass 2 3/4" plus it' s very light so it' s got a pretty hefty recoil. I' ve always been a true believer in spending a little extra and getting higher end gun but that Charles Daly is the best $500 I' ve ever spent.
