Default Patternmasters are worth the money

My brother bought a Patternmaster last year and i read about them and decided to get one. I have heard stories about a guy killing a Canada Greater at 55yds with 2 3/4" in BBB and dropped it. My brother went snow goose hunting and hit 3 snows at 50yds and broke both wings and a neck with 3" BBB. Somemore geese flew over above us at 85, 90 yds and he broke a wing on each bird and they fell from the sky, these Patternmasters are amazing. I decided to buy my own and hope to use in for the spring snow goose season here in ND. People that i know that have a Patternmaster use 3" #3shot for geese instead of BBB or BB. The birds that were shot at 50 yds were as dead as they were shot at 20 yds. After results like this I now own a Patternmaster they are wonderful!

I hate to seem like a dummy, but could you please explain what a patternmaster is. Thanks.

Oh Yeah I should have said what a Patternmaster is. A Patternmaster is a choke tube that works with all sizes of shot but better with larger sizes. A Patternmaster has little teeth that grabs the wad for a split second letting the shot get ahead so the wad doesn' t go through the pattern messing it up. You have better patterns and shorter shot strings(length from lead pellet to back pellet) It works with seel, lead and everything else. They cost 79.99 but if it gets more birds with less shots it will pay for itself later on. Thats why I have one and highly recommend it. Hope that helps everyone that is confused.

If you really want to be impressed you ought to try 4 buckshot on fox and coyotes out to about 90 to 100 yds. I have one I use on my BPS 10 and it kills them dead at these extreme ranges. I too have used the BBB on geese and kill geese that I used to not even shoot at. It is possibly the best thing to happen since the screw in chokes came along.
