This early goose season has been my best ever. All last season i killed a total of 2 geese. In just this early season (started sept. 1st) i have killed 7. That includes my first double ever and, on sunday my first TRIPLE. It was insane. Sunday morning i went to a delta waterfowl trap shoot and won 4 full body big foots, and the day before my friend won 4 so we went out sunday afternoon with an all full body hunt and in the flock of 4 i got 3. My friends gun jammed which is why he didnt get one since they were literally 8 yards away at 5 feet off the ground. my last shot was at about 25 yards. how i love this. I will get pics up as soon as i can

Sounds like you’re having a good time and as for me, I’m also at 7. Had 2 on opening morning, 3 on Monday and just came back with 2 big honker tonight. I have somewhat of an advantage being that I can walk out of my back door and go for a little walk and presto, I’m hunting...

As a group we are up to 32 geese total but I have only contributed 2 of them...It has been feast or famine and you can guess which days I have been there!

We also did extremely well. For the season we are at 22, and thats only hunting 6 days. All in all the best early goose season ever.

I sure hope things turn my way come Regular season and Duck opener on the 30th of this month!!!
