Got this jake sunday around 8:30 in the morning. Called him and 5 other jakes and 2 toms out in to a field. The tom's didnt seem interested so I poped this one. I'm glad I shot this one he has 3 beards!! And about 18 lbs. The biggest beard was 3" the other two are 1 and a half. Shot him at 56 yards with my Stoeger 12 ga o/u with 3" hevi shot mags with a xx full choke.

Congrats on great bird. I too got my first bird here in Ohio on second day of season...a jake as well.
