bird eatig bird dog
bird eatin' bird dog can someone tell me how to get my brittany to stop eating my birds.
he is 4 years old now and did not ever eat any till just lately
the house I just bought had some guinnies left behind and before I could stop him two were missing and now he eats the dove and quail I shoot
what do I do?

You will have to re-condition the dog. Use whatever soft-mouth training method you used when the dog was a pup (hairbrush, frozen bird etc.). Since the dog never did this before, it should be very easy to break.
