For the past 2 seasons I have used a call made by Lohman, and it's called a pump action yelper. It's simple to use. I was fortunate to shoot 2 nice toms with this call. I bought this call at wal-mart for $20 and it came with a how to video. But you will learn with hunting, one call might work one time and in another situation it might not work. So it's nice to have a variety of calls. Good luck!

This being my first yr hunting turks also I've been practicing with a couple of Quaker boy month calls. So far I think I have the sound of someone running over my dog. Gonna keep practicing and shopping for a pump action and push button. lol
