i have a bunch of dekes,and i have had experianced hunters advise me to simply give them what they want in the spring,a hen decoy in any position.its been working for me and leaves more room in my vest.

I've given up on the dekes too.. birds around here either hang up out of range waiting for them hen to come to them or seem scared of them... I don't know which.

I'm a big fan of a jake and hen combo. Especially early in the year. There's nothing more that a tom hates than a jake trying to get in on some of his action!!
