Perhaps you should reread Knockemstiff's original poat. He clearly states that "...hits were taken only from the vitals." When I originally read this post and looked at the target, I counted about 12 vital hits and thought "oh well, so much for inexperience" and moved on. ZZ took the time to try to educate him to the fact that most of his hits were not vital hits. I commend him for this.
It is still a good pattern, just not as good as Knockem thought.

Its a dead turkey allright but what all this tells me is 40 yards is a long way to be shootin at a small target!Get em 5 yards closer and those vital hits could actually double!
