I've used a hen and a jake sometimes, other times two hens and a jake. This morning, I went out with a co-worker and called for him and we used two jakes and two hens. The more decoys, the better, especially if two hunters are hunting together. Each hunter can carry a couple of decoys and set up a small flock. Believe me, it works well!
