1st. make sure that the foam disc is inserted right. Foam disc shiny side against call so you now see the dull side of the foam, line up the hole in the disc with the hole in the call.
2. insert diaphragm in call against dull side of foam with the long latex against the foam witch leaves the tab up facing you. Make sure the diaphragm is covering the hole in the foam.
3. The adjusting nob, keep it at #3 until ready to use. At #3 the call sounds bad because there is no pressure on the reeds, adjust the nob until you like the sound. If you do all these steps you should have a good call. When not using leave on #3.
Have you used this call on turkeys yet? If so let me know the effect on them. Good luck!
