Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default Early season setup

Early in the season, is it better to use more or fewer decoys in your setup.

Early season is a better time for Decoys, as the season progresses Turkeys tend to become keen to the coys and will tend to hangup just out of range. In the later part of your season, make a practice to setup your Decoys close to a obstruction that will place a Tom in shooting range before the hangup...BT

Later in the season, when you're getting a lot of leaves out, it hardly pays to use decoys. By the time the toms can see them, they're in range anyway.
