i'm curious.....when do you prefer to hunt with your crossbow?

i have gotten to where i prefer hunting with my CB from opening day til the last day if i still have a tag left. i chose the early season for my likes as its more comfort for me as its not too cold. early season also has good cover & i can move abit more and not get busted so quick. last but not least factor is the deer are not wound-up like a 8 day clock. they move about less alert just seeking food.

Most definately early season. I hate to bow hunt when it's cold. I really don't care for cold weather any more now that I've gotten old. Tomorrow is the last day for hunting here and it's gonna be cold so I'm not sure I'll go or not yet. LOL

Late season since it is the only time its legal

Early season for me; after six back operations the cold raises hell with my back.
