do think turkeys are color blind or not and do have any expeirence with this out in the hunting field.

In my opinion there is no way that turkeys are colorblind. They have way better vision than us. There have been times when I have been spotted by turkeys when I don't think I could have spotted myself I was camoed so good.

turkeys are NOT color blind they see color very well and variations in a color. Thats why full body camo is usually required.

Yep,Turkey can see color.That's why a gobblers head changes color.It helps attract hens and also warns other gobblers.And yep they can see flouresent orange too.

HMMMMM....Bill Jordan and Toxey Hass must be on to something in developing good camoflauge you think??Absolutely they can see shades of color!!
