I'm proud to announce, I saw 4 big longbeards while deer hunting yesterday. I saw 3 of them last year while deer hunting and think they were 3 or 4 years old then. I'm glad they've picked up another buddy since. They all had paint brushes hanging from their chests and were of a size closer to an emu than a bantam rooster.
I'm planning to take my dad on his first turkey hunting trip this year when he comes to visit, when my baby girl is to be born, and I'm going to try and call one of these monster toms in for him. It'd be great if we could get a double. But I'd be tickled if he'd get the shot.

Gobbling Buck,
What name brand turkeys have you got in Al. We've got the eastern here. I'm trying to find someone to swap a hunt for turkeys' , different from the eastern.
I've been trying to get this machine to get into the swap hunt section and for some unknown I can't get into it. Maybe later.

Good luck. If there is one thing that I love more than getting my own gobbler, it is watching other people get one. Especially if it is their first bird. If you get someone in on a hot gobbler they are hooked on turkey hunting from what I have seen.
