line up between 10 and 20 location, for sure long beard' s, they have to be there,
or I wont waste my time, I have to many people counting on me[8D]

I don' t get into scouting too much until about the first of March and then I hit it pretty hard for about 7 weeks until the season opens. But I will take mental notes of turkey sightings and such things year round while I am out fishing, deer hunting, etc. Like Maytom said, it' s just too dang miserable and hot to be out scouting anything this time of year!

I mostly start looking in the early part of the year, once the snow is off the Mt. passes. I keep telling myself to scout while deer hunting, but have a hard time looking for Turkey sign while I' m searchin' for deer[:-]

The question came to mind as I drove down a road not far from the house and seen all the new Corn starting to grow. This tells me that next year chances are the birds in the area will work over these fields next spring. One place close by a client killed a 1.5 inch Limbhanger , but the area didn' t have much for feed, I see corn growing there aswell. Could be good for next season...BT
