I don' t get into scouting too much until about the first of March and then I hit it pretty hard for about 7 weeks until the season opens. But I will take mental notes of turkey sightings and such things year round while I am out fishing, deer hunting, etc. Like Maytom said, it' s just too dang miserable and hot to be out scouting anything this time of year!
