I have read the internet on the SC regs..... I understand that I can kill 5 birds in a year and 2 in a day? Does this count for every county / private land, etc? this is the part Im a little confused on. I think the county I have been invited to is Clarendon county on private land. Also, does NC and SC have any kind of reciprocal hunting agreement or do I need to buy the $100 big game permit as well as the hunting license for $125.
Thanks,

First off, you have to buy the big game permit AND a license. Whether you buy a season long license or just a 3 or 5 day license is up to you. There's is no agreement between NC and SC. Unfortunately its actually MORE expensive for NC residents to hunt in SC. All of SC neighboring states' residents pay more to hunt in SC.
You need to check the regs for the county that you're hunting in. But since you're only hunting on private land, you should be able to kill 5 for the season but a max of 2 per any day. If you decide to hunt WMA's then there are lesser bag limits for each WMA...say 2-3 birds for the whole season.
Hope this helps.
