Default Specific Bow Hunting Rules and Regs in your state

Here in Wa. state our arrow weight must beminimum 6gr per pound of actual draw weight. (my setup is a minimum 366gr arrow). Years ago we had to have a arrow weighing a minimum of 400 gr regardless of draw weight....and a minimum 40lb draw weight.

Any different Archery R&R's where you call home?

Same here. And no explosive Rambo tips either.

Missouri had a minimum draw weight But they dropped it. Now it's just no Field points and cutting circle has to be at least 1-3/16.

Indiana has a minimum pull of 35# for deer hunting, no minimum arrow weight or other specifications. Head specs include no barbed , explosive , or poisoned tips, andmechs are ok but not field points . Draw Loks are illegal here , crossbows are legal for handicapped throughout theseasons, and for the able during Late Archery only . We have a one buck rule ,but no antler or zone restrictions . Antlerless bag is decided by county and can range from zero(rare) upto 12 bonus antlerless .

Illinois isn't to restrictive on bows and arrows. Bow must be atleast 40# and b-head can NOT be barbed. Heck, they even allow napped flint and obsedian stone heads here!

I've never seen anywhere where they restrict you to a minimum cutting diameter in Missouri. The only things outlawed in Missouri is any device that maintains the bow in a drawn position and nothing that can cast a beam of light on the animal.
