The entire gun really doesn't need to be taped. Just the barrel, part of the receiver, and part of the forearm. Just put on some strips here and there to break it up.

I've got a friend that has a zip on cover that looks great. His gun is several years old but it looks new. I had one dipped
( 150.00 ) I got some bug spray on it and it melted the dip off on the grip and fore arm in places so now it looks realy bad. The dipped camo is oil based so its not like cooked on. There is a co. that bakes it on. I've been to it on the web. it cost alot.

I have a good friend of mine that paints cars and he blow brushes an exterior paint on my gun about every 3 years.Doesn't cost me a dime and looks as good as any factory paint job you'll ever see!
