Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default roost trees

On the topic of roost trees are turkeys creatures of habit so much that they all ways use the same tree? I hunt out west where there are so many trees, couldn' t they just pick one @ dusk or will they travel back to the same area all the time?

If undisturbed, turkeys will often use the same tree or group of trees to roost.
There used to be one gobbler on an adjacent property to the one I hunt that roosted in the same pecan tree consistantly. I was finally able to call it over the property line last season. I guess it depends on the hunting pressure in the area.
