Winter Flocks Break-up
Seems that the winter flocks around here have started to break-up, yesterday was the first I`ve seen gobblers with the big flocks of hens and today all the normal feeding areas where I`ve been watching birds everyday for a month and a half are devoid of birds. Has anyone else noticed that when the gobblers and hens first get together they change their movement patterns?

RE: Winter Flocks Break-up
They started breaking up a couple of weeks ago around here . I was watching seven diffeent bunches of them yesterday in the fields next to me ,usually about seven to ten birds in a bunch, then some bunches of all toms by themselves .It looks like we had another early breeding season . still three weeks to opening day .
