Most of my kills have come one to two hours after daylight. Latest morning bird
was 9:45. I did kill one at 3:30 in the afternoon once. Never gobbled but he ran right in and attacked my jake decoy.

I probably have had more success between 9 and 10 as far as harvest goes. Usually after the hens leave the gobbler they seem to be more willing to come in without as much reservation.

Are you sure about that PA law about hunting turkey after noon? I justed looked at the PA game commission website and couldn' t find it. They don' t say anything about a noon cut off. Here is what it says: " SPRING GOBBLER (Bearded bird only): April 26, 2003 - May 24, 2003. (1 bird limit)"
