Default How predicatable are turkeys?

Two nights in a row i had these toms come in JUST out of range, exact same path about 45 yards away, to far for me and my DXT, but my question is will they keep comming on that same path? I moved my blind so if they do its gonna be a 18 yard shot. thnx for the info.

Default RE: How predicatable are turkeys?

they might. exspecially since it sounds like they are heading to roost?

some birds are extremely patternable. others dont seem to have a pattern at all.

dad and i patterned a boss down to a couple minutes to come through an area. never the same path..but always within 50yds and within a couple minutes...and always with 8-10 hens. never did kill him. had him so close behind me(talking FEET) i could hear his fan click as he strutted...just never got a shot.

good luck...you might have them figured out.
