i tried the carlson's dead coyote choke and it produced great results out to 50 yards with 3 inch winchester extended range at 35 yards it puts 37 in the head with 6 shot and at 45 yards with 3 1/2 in it puts 50 in head this choke is made for hevi-shot and to kill coyotes out to 70 yards so i thought i d shoot some turkey loads through it and found that it out shoots my jellyhead and my gobble stopper

I think that you may be exagerating a bit.... 50 yards 37 pellets?

im with kingvjack i shoot a ss 10 and lucky to get 20
pellets @50 but i did drop one @60 with 4 by 6 mix. it's possible

So, doing some data analysis.... of a pattern of a 5 inch circle.. it is technically impossible, with the number of pellets in a 3 inch load to put 37 pellets in a target 4 inches lond and 2 inches wide. without using a 20gd. strapped to the end of a 12 gd barrell

heres a rule of thumb.... don't shoot turkeys at 50 yards dammit.... get something that works and see em up close.... its fun I tell ya....

Edit: My mistake, it was "over 50" at 45 yards. Too many derivitives of 5 for me...
