I have sps 870 mag and was wondering has anyone patterened Nitro loads in different choke besides what Nitro recommends? If so how did it perform? I'm thinking about trying them in a nova as well.

Shot them out of a Tru Glo strut stopper... They put maybe 4 or 5 more pellets in my target at 40 yards... Not to impressed... Those shells are prob best shot out of the choke that Nitro recommends... I just cant see getting all excited when your pattern is like 50% #7 shot... I will stick with Winchester HV and Extended Range loads in my turkey guns!!!

Yeah, your right Ken, but that #7 Plated Hevishotsize hits as hard as a #5 lead pellet!!Get the Nitro's and have a dam nice pattern with no holes with all the #7 shot!! No Brainer for me!!
