I see in the picture in the link that the front sight is where the regular bead is supposed to be. Is the bead removed or is it under the mounted sight?

I used a single bead for years until I bought my 870 SPS-T thumbhole last year. I like the fiber optic sights, but I can kill a turkey with one bead just as easy as I can with a fiber optic sight. I would though, give the fiber optic a try. I don't think you can go wrong. I didn't think I would like it, but I was wrong.

Well thanks everyone! My gun has the double bead setup. What about using the sight paint for the original beads? I see they make some intensely bright paints at my local gun shop and a fraction of the price of replacement sights. I dont have any real issues with using beads, i have excellent eye sight but just thinking of the low light issues. If the paint idea doesnt sound good, ill do the truglo setup.
