I used a single bead for years until I bought my 870 SPS-T thumbhole last year. I like the fiber optic sights, but I can kill a turkey with one bead just as easy as I can with a fiber optic sight. I would though, give the fiber optic a try. I don't think you can go wrong. I didn't think I would like it, but I was wrong.

Well thanks everyone! My gun has the double bead setup. What about using the sight paint for the original beads?
I see they make some intensely bright paints at my local gun shop and a fraction of the price of replacement sights. I dont have any real issues with using beads, i have excellent eye sight but just thinking of the low light issues. If the paint idea doesnt sound good, ill do the truglo setup.
