Upcoming Osceola hunt...
Myself and a friend are going to be heading to the Orlando area this spring in search of the Osceola turkey. We'll be doing this hunt on public land as we don't have the $$$ to acquire private land and/or use an outfitter. How many of you guys have hunted public land Osceolas? I've heard that the public land Osceolas gets hit pretty hard by guys (like me)trying to get one.
So far I've narrowed our places of interest to Green Swamp andBull Creek. Have any of y'all hunted these areas? Any other information or concerns will be gladly appreciated! Thanks in advance, Simp

Your best bet will be Green Swamp! You'll definatly hear birds and they are workable, but they are also shy! Forget Bull Creek, it has been way over hunted for 10 years! You'll be lucky to hear anything, much less shoot one! Find a few good cypress domes in Green Swamp and you'll find some birds! They are there!
