I sold my Remington 3.5 mag. I guess I'm getting old but the more I carried it the heavier it got. I only shoot 3" loads so don't need all that extra weight.I bought a Encore muzzleloader and 7MM-08 barrel.Has anyone tried the turkey barrel for the Encore and does anyone know of chokes made for this barrel. Thanks, Don

Don, that is a great gun!! As a matter of fact, I will be getting that very gun in the Muzzleloader version for next year's deer season here in NY. It can shoot rings around any slug gun, all the way out to 200 yds.!! As far as getting a choke tube for the shotgun barreled version I really don't know? You might want to give the factory a call, they should be able to tell you which custom choke tubes out on the market can be used in that gun of yours.

I'm saving for the Encore myself. I looked at the new Realtree Fiber Optic Sighted, Extra Full Removable Turkey Choke in the new E. Arthur Brown catalog... I'M IN LOVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't wait to get my 25-06 barrel and the Turkey 12 gauge barrel!! They also make a Realtree Camo 12 guage Black Powder barrel for it Here's the link in case your interested....
