well i roosted 3 toms tonight in one 35 acre woods. The problem is that they have around 10 hens with them. The other area i hunt is a 45 acreridge that has 5-6 toms on it and i know within 100 yards where thell roost, andthey might have less hens. My question is should i go to the spot where i know EXACTLY where toms are but with many hens or should i go to the approxmate area on the ridge and hope they dont have many hens. Thanks for the tips.

You know for sure there are 3 gobblers and hens. You have an idea that there may be less hens with 5-6 gobblers. What a problem to have!!!
Go where you have an idea about the travel path they will take. You may be able to call the hens (SOFTLY) past your location and the gobblers will be right behind them.
If you don't know where they go I would opt for the ridge and try to lure one of those gobblers into your setup. If you are unsure of their location stay back and wait for them to reveal their location. Back here in PA. they do not roost in the same trees every nite.

Both sound good. You have toms roosted, that's a great start. It's still possible to call toms away from hens, hard but possible. The other option is to get tight and call the flock in. Mimic the head/dominant hen and you might torque off enough to come, she comes, they all come with toms in toe. Or course the opposite can happen, she goes and they all go.
LOL edit, tkycaller answered simultaniously and similiar, no wonder, we've hunted together and very much the same.
Good advice tkycaller!
