Congrats on a memorable hunt.

I've heard them gobble a full 1+ hours before even the faintest hint of light. It depends on a lot of things I guess.

Congrats. I agree, one of my favorite hunts was taking my 13 year old cousin and calling in her first bird. Ranks right up there with my own first bird.

Congrads on his first bird. Now he will be addicted like the rest of us. I know that was all it took for my son. I think it is awsome when kids get to take down a gobbler, reguardless of size.

I hunted on the youth hunt, but there was a big ole' gobbler that was all henned up with his harem, and we couldn't get him closer, saw some hens get REAL close.
