I'm good for $10 bucks, just shoot me a pm. However, I cannot handle any distrubution because, between school and work, I just don't have the time. I like the ideas, maybe we can have Ryan or M. Hensler make up some cool stickers on their programs to see what we like. I also almost forgot to answer my own question, this season I will be using my 870 espress 3in, 2 mouth calls, and a glass slate call.

Well, it looks like we've drummed up enough money to cover the stickers, and then some. Thanks for stepping up guys - this could be a pretty cool thing to do.

Now, we just need a willing distribution volunteer and a sticker design. I saw that they have some round ones for the $40 range for a stack of 250. They look like the good outdoor stickers that won't fade or fall apart in the weather, so we can stick them on our cars/trucks/treestands/shotguns/bows/etc..

If one of you guys can take on the distribution, I'm willing to order the stickerson my cardand have them mailed directly to you.

Let's start kicking some ideas around for the sticker design. The possibilities are endless... everything from calls to birds to tracks to hunters...

Keep in mind that the stickers for sale on that site are white background with black ink.

My first thought was maybe a white oval with the words "Huntingnet.com" going around the top - "2007 Turkey Contest" around the bottom. In the middle maybe the silhouette of a treetrunk with a branch coming out, and a strutting tom on the limb. Just a totally random mental picture that I had - we can start with a rough idea, refine it a little bit and have one of our drafting guys finalize it.

After we get our design finalized, we'll have to PM Justin and make sure it's cool with him, since we'll be using the huntingnet.com name in the title. I'm sure he'll be okay with it though.

I like the oval and lettering but how about a turkey track in the center? What is the size of the sticker? And finally, quiksilver if you are doing the card please PM me with your addy or paypal acct if you have one and I'll send $$. BTW, I'm willing to do distribution but who do I send them out to? just team members or anyone in the contest, or any HNI member?

The turkey track would probably be a really simple idea that would look pretty cool.

Make sure all you guys check out that website that I linked, and check out the different sticker sizes/shapes, and get a feel for what our options are and try to kick around some ideas. The oval ones would fit a turkey track pretty nicely.

Also, if any of you fellas can find a different site that does color stickers on the cheap, feel free to link it for the rest of us to check out.

TX - I sent you a PM with all the specifics - get back to me with any suggestions or input that you've got.

My deer contest team had t-shirts made and the whole nine yards - it was a really nice experience and gave everyone a platform to get to know everyone else. I just thought that a little teamwork on a small project like this will maybe help us get focused on winning the contest.

Captain - I say that you get the final call on the sticker design. That willmake the decision-making process go a little faster, b/c we don't have much time. It takes between 2 and 8 weeks to get your stickers back after placing the order, so we'll need to move fast.

Guys - I had an idea - if all of us are pitching $10, we'll have enough to cover the stickers and have a lot of money leftover. Would you guys just want to have me or the Captain or somebody else just hold onto the balance and we can award a cash prize to the biggest gobbler taken on our team?

Our own little internal contest? ..or if you'd rather use the balance toward a set of t-shirts, that's cool too, but somebody else will have to handle that (It's a lot of work).

I'm still waiting for confirmation from HNI Chief Justin that it's OK to use the huntingnet.com name in the sticker, but I did hear back from another one of the admins who said that it's probably fine and that they supported the idea. Sooo, I guess it's fair to say that we've got "preliminary approval."

So, start drawing up some sticker designs guys! I'm graphically retarded, so you don't want me trying that. I'll PM Ryan Aller and ask him to draw us something too. Make sure they're black and white and in JPG format.

Hoytteen gets to make the final call, since he's the captain of this ship.

Team 10 is already on the board! Who starts hunting first from the Gravediggers?
