Went out this morning and let me tell you the birds were going crazy on the roost. There must of been ten within a my plot of woods just hammering it. Of course the one tom I did see was just out of range but if he makes the same mistake tomorrow morning he will be toast. Someone did take a bird and it was a pig. 23 ish pounds with a 10 inch beard but the spurs were nothing to write home about. I will be back tomorrow morning so hopefully I can take a shot at one with this new gun! Good luck to the rest of you!

I bagged both my Ohio birds for our team 8

April 23 I bagged a 21# with a 9 inch beard spurs 6/8 and 7/8 score 55.25

April 29 I bagged a 16# with a 7 1/2 inch beard spurs 7/8 and 7/8 score 48.5

I'll be hunting Pa. Monday and Tuesday then West Virginia in 2 weeks. I couldn't get our team logo to work. But I did get a couple birds so far.

I'm still waiting for my time to start May 14th thru the 31st but untill then I'll keep scouting around and with alot of luck I'll be posting my score as well.

BIRD DOWN! Connected on a nice goobler saturday night at about 6:15. we were set up in 40 acres complety surronded by state ground. We got out at about 4:45 set up and i started calling. nothing anwsered my dad started getting restless and wanted to move but i said no lets wait cuz the birds havent been gobblen much. Five minutes later i spotted a bird to my left and got setup. He came to my decoy in full strut and when he was clear at about 12 yds he stuck out his neck to gobble and i blasted him. He went 21 pounds had a 10in beard and have two 3/4 spurs. whats he goin score? Ill get my pictures up asap.
