Hunted at a friends property this morning...PROBABLY should've been studying for my finals but you know...Had to get my priorities straight...haha...anyways saw 6 birds. 4 hens and 2 jakes. have a week of nothing to do but hunt next week so I've been holding off for a tom...lets hope it all works out! just thought I'd give you an update..Congrats to those with birds adn happy hunting to those who dont! take care all

No luck for me. I saw about 1 different toms and jakes, but they wouldn't respond to calls or decoys. ! tom was out on a little point of brush about 100 yards from me and gobbled about every 10 minutes. He wouldnt come in though. Im thinking about buying a leftover tag if there are any left for my area.

well the birds outsmarted me tonight. Came in from behind. I need to stay away from that spot nothing but trouble has happened there... oh well. Got some roosted in one of the most "easy" (knocks on wood) set ups ever. So tommorow one will at least know what an arrow sounds like whizzing past its head...
